ASAP Home Inspections and Environmental Testing

Jim Van Loosen WETT Certified Inspector 11103

WETT inspections. There is no actual such thing as a WETT INSPECTION. WETT is the body that establishes and carrys out the training requirements for a person to be WETT CERTIFIED.There are different levels of WETT Certified Inspector. The Most common level is the site basic inspector. Most home inspectors fall into this category. Level 2 Is a little more invasive and typically recommended to a Certified Sweep. The Highest level of inspection is a level three inspection and can only be done by a WETT CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN. ASAP Home Inspections and Environmental Testing holds the Site Basic level certification. This is the typical minimum level that your insurance company may require to Insure your home. It is completely non invasive (like a home inspection) and is often combined with the home inspection process. It reports on the condition of the wood burning appliance and its venting system. Including Pellet stoves, masonry fireplaces, wood stoves, factory built fireplaces and wood furnaces among the most common.

My training makes me an ideal candidate toinspect your wood burning appliance. After all your safety is the very reason WETT inspections are required. For further details or to book an inspection give me a call at 855-410-6717.

You will receive a well documented report with several photos that can be forwarded via e-mail to your insurance company. The cost of a WETT inspection which accompanies a full Home inspection is $150.00 in addition to the inspection cost, you save $50.00. We will also fill in the papers required by the insurance company if required.
